As coastal provinces, British Columbia and Nova Scotia share a common interest in fostering our shipbuilding and industrial marine industries to keep our economies diverse, strong and growing. These industries, like all other key sectors, need to have the right skilled workers to meet their labour demands: I am proud to share the good news that B.C. and Nova Scotia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to share best practices, explore new innovative trades training models that meet the needs of employers, and expand opportunities for apprentices in this sector.
