The federal government awards hundreds of thousands of contracts worth billions of dollars each year to buy everything from pens to military vehicles, from translation to engineering services, and countless other goods and services. With such a large volume of contracts, it is inevitable that contract disputes will arise.  The Office of the Procurement Ombudsman (OPO) exists to help de-escalate and resolve these disputes to avoid the ensuing delays and headaches.
