HR Manager

 

Position: Human Resources Manager

Job Summary 
The successful candidate will be a driven and committed human resources professional with the proven ability as a self-starter.
 
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
  • Recruiting for all departments, including recruitment of senior managers, experienced sales professionals, and software developers (screening for specific programming languages/competencies)
  • Assisting with employee training and development, including career pathing
  • Assisting with job classification across all departments
  • Effectively mitigating and managing all employee related disputes
  • Providing advice and guidance regarding employee relations issues
  • Management and enrollment of new staff to the Benefit and RRSP programs
  • Implementation and upkeep of the internal Health and Safety program
  • Administrative duties as required
  • Pay and benefit administration

 

Minimum Requirements
A driven and passionate human resources professional with the following skills:

  • Post-Secondary Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in human resources, including recruitment, pay and benefit administration, and training and development
  • Highly organized and service-oriented
  • Ability to work independently – PSD’s HR Manager will work collaboratively with all department managers but will work independently to execute most tasks
  • Experience in a high volume recruitment environment, ideally within the technology sector
  • Excellent tact, diplomacy, and problem solving skills
  • Highly developed time-management skills, with experience balancing all components of an HR generalist position
