Quality Assurance Analyst

As we continue to grow our team, we are seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Analyst to join the product development team within our London, ON office.
The successful candidate will work in a cross-functional development team in order to gather requirements, analyze testing needs, help troubleshoot production issues, and ultimately help deliver great products to our clients.
Duties will also include:
Evaluating, planning, designing, developing and deploying testing techniques for new applications, products and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the development and product lifecycle
Providing support by replicating and troubleshooting production issues with the development team, opening/closing bugs using JIRA
Participating in requirements reviews in order to write test procedures and test cases
Creating test strategies based on software development plans, and defining and maintaining test plans based on the development schedule
Analyzing reported issues to generate quality reports, and contribute to defect prevention
Setup and configuration of necessary hardware and operating environments for specialized test cases
- 3+ years of experience in a software application quality assurance/testing function; preference is given to those that have worked with web based SaaS products
- Post secondary education in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred
- Experience planning and performing quality assurance and testing activities to verify that software and infrastructure components conform to defined requirements, system design and quality standards
- Familiarity with SQL databases
- Experience with source code repositories such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment a must
