Downtown Revitalization Strategies for small to mid-sized communities
ORIGINAL AIR DATE: JULY 26TH 1-2PM ET
Small and mid-sized communities across North America are investing in their downtown cores to spur growth and development. However, such revitalization initiatives can not only be expensive, but they also require time, vision, and diverse businesses and investors to make a downtown thrive. Despite the many forces working against them, many communities are successfully transforming deteriorating downtowns.
Panelists from smaller communities across Canada will share their experiences, insights, and challenges in downtown revitalization. The webinar will cover tried and tested strategies, from funding models to housing and redevelopment incentives, that can be adapted and implemented in your own community.
A live Q&A session will follow the presentations, giving attendees the chance to engage in more candid conversation with the panelists in order to share ideas and best practices.
